Her Family Left Her Outside Until A General Saluted Her Name-ruby

The first thing Clara Monroe noticed outside Capitol Hall was not the flags, even though they lined the entrance and snapped hard in the cool morning wind.

His finger moved across the screen.

He typed her name, waited, frowned, and typed it again.

Clara watched his mouth tighten.

The small crease between his eyebrows told her the answer before he did.

“Could it be under another name?”
