I unzipped my wedding dress bag on the morning of my ceremony and found something I had never picked.

It turned every rhinestone on that stranger’s dress into a sharp little flash.

I stared at it and waited for my brain to catch up.

It had to be nerves.

That was my first thought, because nerves were easier to accept than sabotage.
